Eddie is an obsessively practical eCom entrepreneur building towers in his digital kingdom, equal parts growth hacker and community host. He turns platform annoyances into step-by-step fixes and short, punchy lessons that merchants actually use. Come for the Shopify hacks, stay for Mavenport and the no-nonsense ad scripts.

Eddie builds eCom towers so obsessively his hobbies are A/B tests and arguing with pixel settings at 2 a.m., he’s the only person who thinks ‘networking’ means DMing spreadsheets to strangers and calling it community.

Went viral by exposing Shopify’s hidden 0.35% per-order charge (top tweet ~195k views), which saved merchants money, boosted his credibility, and helped grow Mavenport into an engaged hub.

To build scalable e‑commerce systems and a community that saves time and money for merchants by exposing platform blindspots, sharing repeatable tactics, and turning messy technical problems into clear playbooks.

Values transparency, data-driven decision making, and speed over perfection. Believes the best way to grow is by shipping practical fixes, testing ruthlessly, and sharing wins (and platform gripes) openly so others can replicate success faster.

Tactical, detail-oriented, and extremely actionable, converts technical know-how into viral posts and quick wins. Strong community-builder who earns trust by saving followers time and money.

Can be blunt to the point of alienating sensitive readers; obsession with optimization sometimes overlooks storytelling or long-term brand warmth. Tends to focus on fixes over feelings.

On X, double down on short, tactical threads that end with a clear CTA (downloadable checklist or DM for templates); pin a perennial 'Shopify & Pixel Fixes' thread; post short screen-record videos showing the exact clicks to fix issues; host weekly X Spaces Q&As to funnel listeners into Mavenport; amplify wins with case-study threads (numbers, screenshots, before/after); tag relevant partners and creators for collabs; and reply quickly to high-value replies to turn them into micro-conversations that boost reach.

Fun fact: Eddie’s thread exposing Shopify’s sneaky 0.35% charge reached ~195k views and helped merchants turn the setting off. He also runs Mavenport and once bragged about a $10.73 CPC add-to-cart from Pakistan, because yes, he’ll analyze anything for a signal.

🤦🏻‍♂️ Don't give in to the copy-paste dropshipper mindset. Let me give you a marketing masterclass, here, in a Tweet. All these losers do is steal ads or run the exact same idea as their competitor. And then they wonder why they're unprofitable. Or why they can't replicate their one-hit wonder and they're spiraling back to broke. Test new ad concepts. New, different ideas. Not the same put-8-clips-together bullshit that everyone does. Come up with some stories, make them more interactive. For example, let's say you're selling a posture corrector: A. A newbie dropshipper... Will run ads made of multiple clips of people wearing the product, while claiming it fixes back pain. Most people seeing such videos are super tired of it and won't respond anymore. --- B. A real marketer though... Would come up with completely new ways to market the product that the ultra-saturated back-pain audience isn't already fully immune to, such as: A person going through their day while nonchalantly wearing the posture corrector and naturally mentioning how well it's been helping with their back pain during their daily activities. I've been running these somewhat obscure ideas for a while and they work really well. Why? Because the broken-back Facebook mamas don't want ads. They want stories, they want to relate to people, and they don't want to feel like they're being sold to. They've grown a thick, protective shell against those ads that promise them the world, and they won't respond to them any more. But when you present the product in a way that it doesn't even feel like marketing, it builds rapport and trust. You sell it, but effortlessly, as if that's not even the center point of the video. Put your customer in a friendly environment that they'll trust without pushing a product into their face, and they'll be significantly more likely to buy it. --- There's so much money to be made in Q4, and it will all be taken by the people who are smart enough to adapt & innovate. Hopefully, this Tweet helps you do exactly that. Want me to write more stuff like this? I talk about it a lot in Mavenport discord, by the way.
