I just want to share my personal life story a bit. The motivation is to give courage for you to keep pushing forward no matter what life throws at you. Majority of my income since I am working full time at 20 years old goes to my parents and even my sister and her son too. My dad refuse to work and throw his responsibility as the head of the family to me. He said he deserves to rest and it's my turn to carry the responsibility. I take it. I did it not for him, but for my mom. My sister was a widow and for 2 years she was not working. On top of that, my mom got terminally ill in 2020. Her medicine cost me almost 200K USD from 2020-2022. That was a lot of money. It requires me to work 1 full time and 3 side jobs. I barely sleep for 1+ year, only 2-4 hours per day. I got sick multiple times, but I push through. I did fundraising once just to make sure the medical got covered and she's not running out of medicine. She ultimately rest in peace in 15th July 2022. She passed away when I fell asleep and I am holding her hand. When I woke up, her hand is super cold. I couldn't remember much during that day. She got buried at the same day she passed away. I did my best but it wasn't enough. Her illness was incurable from the beginning. She did her best too. The doctor said she can only survive for 3-4 months, but she can survive for 2 years and 3 months. For several months I felt terribly guilty. I thought that was my fault. I kept blaming myself. I keep asking myself what went wrong. Why I can't save her? Why there's no mercy for her? But eventually I accept the fact that she's no longer around. I think it's also the best for her. She's no longer in pain. She can rest in peace. She is my world. That won't change. I still miss her. I still want her to be here today. I feel something is missing within me that can't be replaced with anything. I just learn to accept it day by day. It's never easy. Sometimes I met her in my dream. Sometimes I woke up feeling sad afterward. Sometimes I am hallucinating that she was around and calling my name and when I turn around no one is there. In the early days I even tried to follow her several times but the attempt was failed. For a while I don't know why I still live. I lost my purpose. She was my purpose to live. But then, I remember, she loved to help others. To honor her, I keep living my life. To make her proud. That's why I do charity. That's why I love to help others. I did it on behalf of her. If she's still around, she must be very happy doing it with me. I'll keep doing it for the rest of my life. So when I eventually meet her, I can tell all of the stories to her and we can rejoice forever in love. Until then, I hope she can wait for me patiently.
