He is named Nathaniel after the disciple of Jesus who declared, “you are the Son of God!” Also, after his great-great grandfather Kenneth Nathaniel Taylor, Kenneth’s father George Nathaniel Taylor, and George’s grandfather Nathaniel Carr Taylor—four great men of the faith who spent their lives in God’s service. He is named Washington after George Washington Taylor, father to Nathaniel Carr Taylor and godson of George Washington, the first President of the United States. Sophie is a champion once again.
